Ou can find interesting plants everywhere in Britain and Ireland. This site is intended to help you identify them. On the following pages you will be presented with a questionnaire. On the characteristics of the plant you are trying to identify. Fill in the form and press search, the computer will then try and identify the plant you have found. Please feel free to send me your comments, particularly where improvements can be made.
Since my return to Dorset I have been photographing some of the wildflowers, moths, lichens and fungi to be found in the county.

The web site had the following on the site, "Welcome to Irish Wildflowers, with photographs and details of over 800 native and introduced wildflowers found in Ireland." We noticed that the web site said " The common and Irish names are given when hovering over each image on the Images A-Z." It also said " And clicking on the image opens an information page with more photographs, plant details and a link to the BSBI distribution map for each species. To search for wildflowers by Colour. Or to see some of the species that are Flowering Now. Ireland has many different Habitats." The header had native irish wildflowers as the highest ranking optimized keyword. This keyword is followed by wild flowers, Ireland, and Lusitanian flora which isn't as urgent as native irish wildflowers. Monday, March 19, 2018. March walk to Glenshelane woods. A large group took part on a walk on a fine spring day lead by the inimitable Denis Cullen.
